Tattoo Removal After-Care Instructions

Important Information!

After your laser tattoo removal treatment, the treated area may experience temporary changes, including:
● “Frosting” (a temporary whitening of the skin)● Redness and swelling● Pinpoint bleeding● Some clients may also notice blisters or scabbing, which is a normal part of healing.
In rare cases, the following may occur: changes in skin texture, lightening or darkening of skin (hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation), or delayed healing. Following proper aftercare will help minimize these risks.

  • Healing Ointment: Apply a thin layer 2–3 times per day. (We recommended Bepanthen, but Aquaphor can also be used.)

  • Gauze Protection: If needed, cover the treated area with a sterile non-stick gauze pad after applying ointment.
